Phoenix, AZ – This project included the conceptual design for a prototypical school, including the overall style, site development and floor plan for Great Hearts Academies, a non-profit charter school organization in the Phoenix Metro area.
The exterior replicates a traditional mission-style building with low, sloping clay tile roofing; white, understated stucco walls; stone archways and curved gables.
The floorplan optimizes an efficient flow of traffic and offers open spaces for gathering, clusters of classrooms and labs, and a large gymnasium with a stage for meetings and creative performances.
